Far Cry 5 is free to play this weekend and you can start pre-loading the game today.

Ubisoft is offering folks a free weekend of play for Far Cry 5.

The free weekend will kick off on Friday, May 29 and run until Sunday, May 31. You can pre-load the game from today through Uplay for PC starting at 1pm EDT, 6pm BST.

All players will have full access to the base game’s content for the duration of the free weekend and be able to play in co-op with anyone who owns the game.

Alongside the free weekend, there will be discounts up to 75% on all Far Cry PC Standard and Gold Editions until June 2 on the Ubisoft Store.

If you purchase the game during the free weekend, all of your progress will carry over.
