Valorant Haven map looks very similar to CS:GO maps in conspiracy

The Valorant Haven map appears to share many design features with two CS:GO maps according to a “conspiracy theory” posted by the esports team Ninjas in Pyjamas at Home. Based on the CS:GO and Valorant images the team has shown, it seems like there might be something here.

If you haven’t been keeping up with first-person shooters lately, Valorant is a new game from Riot Games, the same people behind League of Legends. Valorant has been in a closed beta for a while now, and people are still discovering a lot about the game. Now, one esports team seems to have noticed something rather intriguing about one of the game’s maps.

The image shared by Ninjas in Pyjamas at Home compares the Valorant Haven map with the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive maps de_cpl_mill and de_tuscan. From there, several boxes and colored arrows are used to highlight similar features like bombsites/capture points and the spawns for each team.

I haven't really played much Valorant, I still seem to run into lots of cheaters on there.

RepBandit I am really surprised companies do not get sued more for copyright. A lot of games have the same map layouts


They can't be sued for copyright for having a similar map. We would never get new games if this was the case.

Mario350 all the maps are made by the guy who made de cache so no surprise there, plus every game has similar map layout just way different styles nothing new

I think a lot of people are forgetting about the lead creator moving over to Vaorant.

Simple explanation. one of the Valorant devs (Volcano I believe) helped build some csgo maps. So he's going to use what worked for him before.

Uh a lot of maps have the same layout they're just a different scenery so you don't really know that..

I'm not surprised. I honestly don't think riot has had an original idea in their entire existence. No reason for them to stop now if its working for them.
