The Elder Scrolls 6 Leak Suggests Q4 2024 Release Date

4
There have been several rumors floating around for The Elder Scrolls 6, none of which have been acknowledged by Bethesda Softworks. Rumors should be treated as rumors, nothing more and nothing less, and same goes for the latest alleged leak that claims meaty details about the much-anticipated installment.

Posting on the Elder Scrolls Fandom community recently, an anonymous user stated that “The Elder Scrolls 6: Redfall” will take place in High Rock and Hammerfell six years after the events of Skyrim. The same locations have been speculated before as well but this time, the source was able to verify a non-disclosure agreement to authenticate themselves. Whether that agreement was legitimate to being with remains to be verified though.

Most of the regions of The Elder Scrolls 6 will have densely populated settlements with functionalities and routines taken from The Witcher and Fallout franchises. The regions will also be warring against each other, a necessary aspect because Bethesda Softworks will apparently be using the political scene to create “some huge, epic battle scene with dozens, if not hundreds of characters battling on screen in real time” as a way of utilizing next-generation hardware.

Furthermore, there will be a lot of traveling via ships and where players will have the option to not only purchase their own ships but also customize them. According to the leaker, The Elder Scrolls 6 will be using vehicle mechanics that were created for Starfield. The ships will range from a rowboat to a large pirate ship that will require multiple non-playable characters for various purposes.

The Elder Scrolls 6 has allegedly been slated for a release in late 2024 and one of its first post-release expansion packs will take place in Stros M’Kai, an island territory close to Hammerfell and where Bethesda Softworks will be making more use of the ship mechanics. Interestingly, the leaker claimed that Starfield will release in late 2021, which would imply that Bethesda Softworks will start doing reveals in the coming months if the source of the leak is indeed authentic.

Last year, director Todd Howard noted that The Elder Scrolls 6 will be designed to have a lifetime of about ten years. The sequel will be much larger in scale when compared with past installments. In other words, a lot of work still needs to be done.

Zombr Quite a bit away but I would rather them take their time with such a game. Until then, Skyrim and mods will have to occupy me.

I agree , the more time they work on it should be amazing.

For sure hope it will be great!! Don't see why not. Been waiting for so long for their next game.

Skyrim was my game back when it was released if this is gonna be a better version I'm just gonna be a hermit

Ninja I'd be much more excited to see a new Skyrim or something, Skyrim was 100% the best seller and if that was the case I could see it selling insane amounts of copies. Not been a fan of the online side of elder scrolls.

I'm like 99% sure it will be like Skyrim but better! I'm for sure hyped and I know it will be a AAA title.

Yes the game is years old but is still so much fun because of the modding community.

It's a shame we have to wait but it will 100% be worth it, look at Skyrim, still going today, I hope the modding community is just as big on ES6!

That's a lot of time to perfect the game, hope to find out more about this soon!

Gossip It's annoying that we still have to wait 4 years for this... if it was up to me I'd make it double the length of the last game.

Agreed. Hopefully the modding ocmmunity takes hold of this game like they did Skyrim...New gen will be amazing!
