Gears Tactics Becomes Top Selling Game On Steam

Sometimes you don’t really know you wanted something until it comes along. Gears Tactics is a good example. Combining the tactical strategy of games like XCOM with the universe and aesthetics of the Gears of War franchise ended up being something of a slam dunk for a lot of people, as evident from its Steam placement already.

Seems Gears Tactics is already the top selling game on Steam as of writing (top selling games can fluctuate and also change based on region, so keep this in mind). It’s pretty impressive considering the full game hasn’t even unlocked yet in every region, and it is also part of Game Pass. People are hungry for some of that tactical Gears.

Gears Tactics is available as of today for PC and will come to Xbox One at a later date.

I've seen this game being streamed on twitch over the last few days. Me personally, it doesn't excite me. However, it's pretty cool to see something unique hit the top sellers!

That's pretty crazy to see to be honest. I didn't think that this game would do that good but I stand corrected. Just looks like gears version of halo wars but correct me if I'm wrong.

Not really that impressive as this changes all the time and like the article states it goes on region and also fluctuates.
