Microsoft Flight Simulator Official PC System Requirements Revealed

As it was expected, Microsoft Flight Simulator is going to use every last bit of power within your PC hardware.

Over 14 years after its latest entry, Microsoft Flight Simulator is about to make a come back with its most detailed iteration ever that will be hitting Microsoft’s next-gen console and PC. The game is definitely going to show off the powerhouse within Xbox Series X, but if you want to play it on your personal computer, you’d better check out its official PC specs first.

Microsoft Flight Simulator‘s official website has revealed three different system requirements for the game which include minimum, recommended, and ideal specs. In order to be able to run the game in the lowest preset, you need to equip your personal computer with an NVIDIA GTX 770 or an AMD Radeon RX 570 graphics card. In the case of processors, you’re going to need a Ryzen 3 1200 or an Intel Core i5-4460 for the lowest quality. Moreover, 2 GB of VRAM and 8 GB of RAM are the other requirements of Microsoft Flight Simulator for minimum specs. Below, you can check out the details for other presets.



As you may know, Microsoft Flight Simulator has over 2000 GB of high-quality textures in order to simulate all the airports and environment of the world in an incredible level of detail. As a result, playing the game will require you to have a steady internet connection with at least 5 Mbps download rate, allowing the game’s servers to download the textures in a proper time and showing them in the game as you fly over various locations. That said, Microsoft Flight Simulator will also need 150 GB of free space on your device to install the base requirements of the game.

The next Flight Simulator game is currently under development at Asobo Studio, the team behind A Plague Tale: Innocence, and is set to be arrived sometime this year for PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X after its official launch.

Never played any flight simulators before but this one actually looks interesting to see sights you'd never be able to see

This is going to be interesting a game that will use every power from your pc, just a interesting game I would play the game but I'd probably fall asleep in my gaming chair.

Nothing an affordable PC shouldn't be able to handle. Excited to see how this game is going to end up. The multiplayer feature they announced should bring in more players.
