NieR Re[in]carnation First Gameplay Revealed

NieR Re[in]carnation revealed some gameplay for the first time and officially confirmed it'll have gacha micro transactions.

NieR Re[in]carnation was featured during the Famitsu Dengeki Game Awards 2019 on April 18. We saw some gameplay of the mobile game for the very first time. A video message from Yoko Taro was shared as well.

The video message featured NieR Re[in]carnation Producer Yosuke Saito, Creative Director Yoko Taro, and Director Daichi Matsukawa. Yoko Taro said everyone kept asking whether it’ll have gacha or not, so after screwing around, he officially confirmed it will have gacha. Matsukawa said the game will be so amazing in all aspects you wouldn’t think it’s a mobile game. Lastly, the trio revealed that the location shown in the gameplay video above is a certain place you’ll get to as you play through NieR Re[in]carnation‘s main story.

Judging from the smartphone game trackpad thing at the bottom left, the game is playable with touch controls through a virtual controller.

More details on NieR Re[in]carnation will be coming sometime later through the game’s official Twitter account.

NieR Re[in]carnation was announced during the series 10th anniversary stream on March 29. The game is developed by Applibot for iOS and Android, and doesn’t have a release date yet. Art house CyDesignation is handling character design.

NieR Re[in]carnation was announced alongside NieR Repilcant ver.1.22474487139… on PS4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. We also learned NieR Automata sold over 4 million copies.

Damn I was happy until I read that it's a mobile game.. They could put my favorite game on mobile and I wouldn't touch it.

9nty I'm really fussy on what games I would actually buy to play I'm sorry this isn't one of the games I'd buy looks boring and stale in my opinion

It does look pretty stale but if it's super cheap it might be worth giving a shot. Not a lot of great games out right now anyways.

The game is stale, I've played the previous ones, obviously not sure about this one but from looks, it doesn't look great..

I'm not sure if they have previous games on mobile or not but maybe this one will be different? If its free like most apps I might give it a shot but I think it'll be like $5 or something just so they can profit off of launch.

Never got into any opf the games and looking at this gameplay, just looks so bad imo.

Lgnd Doesn't seem like a game id play, But im sure many will enjoy it.

Mobile games are never as appealing as a console game to be honest. I can't play mobile games because they bore me almost instantly lol.

Gacha games are pretty fun so I would hope this would follow with the rest of them. I used to play dragon ball z dokkan battle for awhile and that was a great gacha game.
