Call of Duty: Modern Warfare‘s most annoying problem has finally gotten fixed. Developer Infinity Ward says it hoped to add a “clear all current green dots” button all the way back in February, and now, following the launch of Season 3, we’ve finally gotten it.

Players noted the update slowly rolling out across platforms over the past day or so. You’ll now see a button prompt at the bottom of the screen marked ‘clear weapons new’, and it’ll do just like it says – and there are similar options for attachments, camo options, and the like.

“We are pushing to get a ‘clear all current green dots in the menus’ button,” the game’s art director, Joel Emslie, said on Reddit back in February. “Hoping sometime in the near future; stay tuned.” I’m not sure how “near” this actually is, but it’s finally here, so there’s no real need to complain. The game’s frequent unlocks kept the green dots coming regularly, and some players had reported bugs where they were impossible to clear, besides.



Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone are now available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
