Saints Row: The Third Remastered Revealed, Coming in May

3.8
Saints Row: The Third Remastered brings all the expansions along with enhanced graphics, re-modeled cars, and more realistic lighting.
After being rated by ESRB for PS4, Xbox One, and PC, the official trailer for Saints Row: The Third Remastered is here and it will be available on May 22.

After launching Agents of Mayhem back in 2017, Volition has been tight-lipped about its next mainline project, though they have revealed at least that it will be a new Saints Row. Having said that, the developer launched Saints Row IV: Re-Elected on Switch last month, and now, they have announced the remastered version for Saints Row: The Third with an action-packed trailer that hypes up the pure craziness in the city of Steelport.

As shown in the trailer, Saints Row: The Third Remastered looks stunningly good with the new graphical enhancements. Volition has tweaked the lighting, changed the models on some objects like cars, and upgraded the texture packs appearing in the game. Aside from working on visuals, the remastered version also includes all the mission packs and DLC items that have already launched for the third Saints Row game.

Although Saints Row IV is likely the craziest experience we’ve ever had in a Saints Row game, the third installment was also an unforgettable game with some great features that appeared for the first time in the franchise. Allowing you to create your own character with lots of options, you jump into a crazy city to raise chaos in rivalry with a bigger criminal gang.

As far as we know so far, the gameplay is the same as the original version unless Volition reveals more details about the remastered edition and provides an in-depth look at what it is supposed to bring to us regardless of the graphical tweak.

Saints Row: The Third Remastered is set to be launched on May 22 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It’s worth noting that the PC version of the game is going to be an Epic Games Store exclusive.

Gossip Why remaster the worst one lmao it makes no sense to me.

I think people enjoyed it. Not saying I did because the game was pretty horrible so I much rather see the remaster the 1st or 2nd one.

I'm not sure, I think the majority of players think this one is the worst one by far,

Zach I really enjoyed the first Saints Row the best. Saints Row 3 was a flop.

Saints row 2 was pretty good as well. The 3rd was definitely where it went downhill.

Too right. Felt like that was the game they drew away from the gangster scene. Stupid missions and parts of story line. Saints row 4 was so shit.. no more gangsters. 1 and 2 were the proper games..

Pretty sure saints row 3 was the best selling saints row game when it came out. So not sure how it was a flop. It also got higher ratings. I do think the game was silly and childish. But in no way a flop

I'm really baffled as to why they would not remaster Saints Row 2 as that is the best one in my opinion and would actually be so sick! Saints Row The Third felt too childish.
