Empire of Sin delayed to fall 2020

Romero Games’ Empire of Sin has been pushed back a few months.

Empire of Sin, Brenda and John Romer’s XCOM-style strategy game, was initially targeting a spring release. Today, the developer announced that it’s been delayed to the fall, though without providing a solid release date.

“The challenges in making a game like no-one has made before is exactly that – making a game no-one has made before. It takes time to get everything right and presents us with some unique opportunities. I am grateful we are taking the additional time to polish,” said Brenda Romero.

Empire of Sin is a Prohibition-era turn-based strategy and management sim where you’ll get to play as a crime boss in the fight for dominance in the moonshine trade.

Empire of Sin is coming to PC, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch this fall.

Always good to see them taking more time to get it right, so many games are thrown it with no care nowadays and are in 'early access' for ages
