All of Telltale’s The Walking Dead is Now Available on Switch & Steam

4.5
Telltale's The Walking Dead is back on Steam and you can get the entire series for the first time ever on Nintendo Switch.

It has been over a year since the fallout of Telltale Studios, leading to The Walking Dead IP being moved to Skybound Games while other franchise rights like The Wolf Among Us sticking with the acquirer of Telltale LCG Entertainment. Due to the fallout, The Walking Dead series was delisted from Steam but is now back for players to purchase and enjoy. The announcement was made by Skybound Games on their official Twitter. Alongside the news, seasons two and three of the franchise have finally made their way to the Nintendo Switch via the eShop. Both the first and final season of the series was already on the platform but now Switch owners can experience the entirety of the story.

While the series has its ups and downs The Walking Dead is a fantastic franchise with The Walking Dead: The Final Season being my personal Game of the Year for 2019. There is great characterization, heartbreaking moments, and some of the best storytelling that I’ve experienced in gaming. You can purchase the first three seasons on Steam or Switch for $14.99 and the final for $19.99 respectively. It is worth noting that Michonne: A Telltale Miniseries is not available on the Nintendo Switch, but it is a complete side story from the main series so there is no detriment for skipping it.

Skybound Games also released The Walking Dead: The Telltale Definitive Series which includes all four seasons including updated visuals for seasons one, two, and three that is available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Wish they would've just bundled it rather than making it a cash grab with pricing each.
