The Campaign in Marvel’s Avengers Could Last Up to 30 Hours

In a new interview, the campaign in Marvel's Avengers could take up to 30 hours to complete.

In a new interview with Comicbook.com, Rich Briggs, the senior brand director at Crystal Dynamics, says the campaign in Marvel’s Avengers could take players up to 30 hours.

“I think it’ll depend on exactly how deep you want to go into it,” says Briggs. “So if you think about previous Crystal games, you know that if you want to be playing your way through the core story, it’s going to be in that area, 10 to 12 hours.”

Recently, it’s been announced that Ms. Marvel will be a playable character. Dualshockers’ own Chris Compendio got to attend a Marvel’s Avengers panel at New York Comic-Con.

“But if you want to see everything there is, and do all the side missions and everything else, you’re generally looking at 30 plus hours in the Tomb Raider games,” Briggs continues. “So we’re not putting exact numbers on it just yet, but you can expect something comparable to what we’ve done in the past with that regard. And then, of course, you have the extended narrative and the extended game plan, more heroes post-launch.”

Marvel’s Avengers launches on May 15, 2020 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Google Stadia. If you’re looking for more Avengers news, you can check out the new trailer below which shows Ms. Marvel in action.

30 hour campaign would be a great time. I hate getting games and run through the story so quick.

tO0t This game has some decent developers, I wonder if it's going to be focused more for children like the other marvel superhero games or if it will play well for anybody that's a fan of the marvel universe. Definitely gonna wait for reviews before I decide if I'm purchasing this or not.

I'm in the same boat as you. I love the MCU (who doesn't) but it's been kind of a meh from what I've seen so far, I'm most put off by not having the avenger cast voices and faces and it kind of kills the immersion for me
