Overwatch is coming to Nintendo Switch next month

4.5
It's really happening. The very first announcement from Nintendo Direct has revealed Overwatch is being ported to the Switch.

Of course, this particular announcement isn't really a surprise at this point, but we were still treated to our first Switch gameplay footage nonetheless.

Overwatch will be making its official Switch debut on the 15th October, with a unique feature to the Switch allowing players to use motion controls for abilities like Junkrat's Rip-Tire and Hammond's movement while he's rolling.

It's not hard to get me excited about Overwatch, but a lot of the news about it this year has been particularly interesting. The game has seen some of the biggest changes since its original release in 2016, and with it coming to a new console, now is as good a time as any to get into this truly essential FPS.

Considering how poorly fortnite performs on the switch, I doubt this will perform any better.

I'm not sure how well this will do on the Switch.

Awesome news for switch players. This is one of my favorite games Of all time. Even though there is a lot of problems with it and very frustrating to play as a solo que player. It's actually pretty well balanced and very very fun when you get a good team that works together. If you haven't played this game I highly recommend it to anyone who likes first person shooters or objective based games.

Doesn't seem like it will be the best performing game for Switch, granted its very popular and a good add for Switch, the majority of serious players... which kinda seems like that is all there is remaining... will stick solely to PC
