As usual, Atlus is publishing small pieces of information on Persona 5 Royal through the Persona official twitter. At times, short gameplay videos are published as well. The latest one shows the persona fusion of Fafnir, a new persona added in Persona 5 Royal.

Fafnir is a demon which already appeared in many Shin Megami Tensei related games in the past but was absent from the original Persona 5. Fafnir is part of the Strength Arcana. I bet it’ll be in Shin Megami Tensei V too, as I think Atlus will reuse many of the designs they made for Persona 5 there. Hopefully, we’ll get some SMT V news at Tokyo Game Show 2019.

Atlus already confirmed Persona 5 Royal include many new personas for Joker to collect. Each Phantom Thieves member also has new personas.

Atlus held on August 30 a Persona 5 Royal event at Billboard Live Tokyo. During the event, Atlus revealed the third full-length trailer for Persona 5 Royal, a new teaser trailer for Persona 5 Scramble The Phantom Strikers, and the introduction trailer for Joker.

PS4 exclusive Persona 5 Royal launches on October 31 in Japan and in Spring 2020 in the west.
