3DS & Wii U Will No Longer Accept Credit Cards To Add Funds in Europe

It seems like the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U are finally coming to their inevitable end pretty soon.

The Nintendo 3DS has been taking its last lap around the track for quite a while now. But it is starting to feel like that race is finally about to come to a long and joyous end. One, because Nintendo has really stopped creating titles for the system, and two, Nintendo has just announced that 3DS And Wii U owners will not be able to use their credit cards to add funds to their eShop in the Europe.

Announced via the companies website, you can see that the transition will begin in September, which is already next month. I would have to imagine that these changes will start to be implemented everywhere else pretty soon.

The 3DS lived a long and prosperous life. It has gone on to be one of the best handheld systems of all time and in my opinion have one of the best collections of games that you can choose from. One of the best deals in video games right now is picking up a Nintendo 2DS along with a crap ton of games. Whether it is A Link Between Worlds, Super Mario 3D Land, Mario Kart 7, or Fire Emblem Awakening, there are plenty of quality titles to choose from.

Now the Wii U might not have sold all that well. But it still has a great collection of games that haven’t been ported over to the superior Nintendo Switch, but probably will at some point. May these two consoles rest in piece.

Oh man. Come on now. These were some of the best. I love the 3DS for all my Pokmon games and Wii U was also fun as hell. Sad to see this seriously

Sad they are taking this option off the console, a lot of people enjoy using there cards instead of purchasing cards but if they remove this dont they have cards to purchase like PS and Xbox?
