Control Launch Trailer Prepares Players for a Weird and Unknown World

Take a look into a strange and unnerving world where anything can happen in Remedy's Control launch trailer.

With Control launching in just a matter of days, Remedy Entertainment and 505 Games have today given excited players a look into the strange and unnerving world of their upcoming title in a brand new Control launch trailer. In July, Remedy shared with their fans that Control had already gone gold in just under a month before release which is an amazing achievement for the studio.

In the new Control launch trailer, we see things get pretty weird – as expected. The trailer starts out with empty halls and rooms but then Jesse Faden, the current Director of the Federal Bureau of Control enters and all hell breaks loose. Equipped with her supernatural abilities and a geometric gun, she takes on all kinds of encounters with some shady characters, as seen in the trailer below. Also shown are some pretty intense scenes, insane creatures, and probably the best part is witnessing Jesse flying around showcasing some seriously awesome moves as she battles the paranormal known as The Hiss and whatever else is thrown at her.

Previously, Control‘s director Mikael Kasurinen has discussed “making the game ‘replayable,’ for us it was more about creating a world that you can keep exploring” and also touched upon the games puzzle designs and gaming mechanics.

You can preorder Control, which releases August 27th, for PS4 and Xbox One.
