If you've been looking forward to the next Metro Exodus expansion then get ready, because The Two Colonels launches tomorrow.

If you’ve been waiting for the next Metro Exodus expansion, then it’s time to clear some space on your hard drive if you need to. Today, developer 4A Games and publisher Deep Silver announced that The Two Colonels expansion is set to go live tomorrow, August 20, 2019, on all platforms.

The news was first announced during the Inside Xbox livestream at Gamescom 2019 in Germany, alongside a new trailer for the DLC. As expected, the trailer shows off some of the environments, characters, enemies, and weapons (including the new flamethrower) that you’ll come across during the time in the expansion. For those that don’t know, The Two Colonels expansion tells the story of one Colonel Khlebnikov trying to make his way to his son located in the city of Novosibirsk.

If you play through The Two Colonels quick enough, don’t fret as another expansion is coming early next year titled Sam’s Story, which follows a US Marine trying to find out if his family is still alive.
