Apple is expected to release three iPhone models this year to succeed the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR. However, a new leak suggests the company may be changing up its branding for the new phones, with at least one of them sporting 'Pro' in the name.

The leak comes courtesy of an anonymous Twitter account, CoinX. While anonymous sources are obviously don't inspire a lot of confidence, the same account had accurately predicted the naming scheme for the 2018 iPhones, as well as details about last year's iPad Pro.

If the rumour is true, it still remains to be seen how Apple will implement the 'Pro' branding into its lineup. It could drop the 'R' branding and call the LCD version of the iPhone 11 just that, while the OLED models will be iPhone Pro and iPhone Pro+ (or something along those lines). On the other hand, the lowest end model could be called the iPhone 11R, while the OLED variants are called iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro based on their respective sizes.

While the details of the phones' naming scheme are unclear, we do have some allusions as to their specs. The two higher-end models, which feature an OLED screen, will also come with a triple-camera setup - something the iPad Pro is purportedly also going to receive - and the LCD variant will come with just two rear cameras. Each phone will undoubtedly come with the latest A-series chipset from Apple and we may also see a bump in their battery capacities.
