Rumor: Treyarch Testing Call Of Duty 9, Project Iron Wolf

It seems someone who works at Treyarch is on the Friends list of a gamer, who spotted that assumed employee playing Iron Wolf. There are pics from Xbox Live to support the claim, and you can also see the person playing Team Deathmatch on an unknown map. Personally, that throws up a red flag, just because I’ve often heard that developers don’t embark on multiplayer until a great many assets are in place. But then again, things change fast, and given the nature of the industry today – and especially of Call of Duty – I’m sure multiplayer is the top priority. So maybe that really is a Treyarch employee, and maybe CoD9 really is codenamed “Project Iron Wolf.” We just don’t know if that’s a Black Ops follow-up or something new. Heck, maybe it isn’t even a CoD! An entirely new IP! Wouldn’t that be refreshing? there’s no guarantee the rumor is real, anyway

if indeed CoD9 is called "Project Iron Wolf" i will not buy it...reason 1 is: that's the dumbest name for a video game ever, 2: treyarch sucks at making video games, black ops was absolutely awful....

Too fast of a CoD production and when Black ops sucked they need to take the tiem to 2 years instead of 1 to much CoD's coming out.

Black Ops is only 9 months old

Well I think its too soon for treyarc to be starting another Cod if this is true then this game should be just for zombies with 20 maps for online

RossUK First of all, they have only been working on this project for like a year most likely, i doubt they would be playing it on xbox live and not Pnet, i think this could be MW3 Closed beta, like Black ops it was called "First Strike"...

Yep i have been saying the samething its too soon for them to be testing COD9 and even if it was why the hell are they on xbox live and not pnet

i am sure its a mw3 beta or a new game
