Mortal Kombat 11 Nightwolf Gameplay Footage Has Arrived

After multiple teases from director Ed Boon, today we have finally received our first full look at Mortal Kombat 11’s upcoming DLC fighter, Nightwolf.

Nightwolf looks like he plays somewhat similarly to how he did in past Mortal Kombat titles going off of this new gameplay footage. He once again comes equipped with a hatchet, bow, and knife to deal out damage to his opponents. He also looks to be somewhat faster this time around and can quickly close gaps between himself and other fighters.

As for his fatality, well, it’s pretty freaking brutal. Shown at the end of the gameplay trailer, Nightwolf hacks his hatchet into his opponent’s jaw before then grabbing their mouth and ripping half of their body apart. He then sends the hatchet flying through the air into the enemy’s now exposed internals.

Personally, Nightwolf has always been one of my favorite fighters in the MK series and I’m thrilled that he’ll be returning. He looks like a ton of fun to utilize and I can’t wait to try him out for myself.

Speaking of which, NetherRealm has also stated that Nightwolf will first become available on August 13. This is when Nightwolf will be available via “Early Access” however, so some players might not see him arrive in their own game until later on. If you already own the season pass for MK11, you’re already good to go once Nightwolf drops.
