Tetris Effect Coming to PC Next Week

4
After being exclusive to the PlayStation 4 for months, Enhance Inc. has finally announced that Tetris Effect will be coming to PC next week.

For a while, folks that don’t own a PlayStation 4 have wanted some way to get their hands on Tetris Effect, but they haven’t been able to given its exclusivity to the platform. Now that all changes, as developers Monstars Inc. and Resonair have revealed that the puzzle will finally be making its way to PC in just a week, on July 23, 2019.

Of course, this version will come with everything the PS4 version did and more. Players will now be able to adjust the game’s graphics in ways the PS4 version couldn’t. This includes ultra-wide monitor support, adjustable particle volume and size, and PC VR support. This means the two most popular VR headsets on PC, Oculus Rift and HTC Vive, will be fully supported on this version of the game. Just like the PS4 version, however, the use of VR is not required to enjoy the game.

To celebrate the announcement of the PC version of the game, publisher Enhance Inc. released a brand new trailer, showing off some of the features in the game, as well as gameplay from the PC version. If you want to check out the trailer, you can do so below.

Games making their way to other platforms is always a good thing and the fact that more people will be able to experience Tetris Effect, which was one of my favorite games of last year, is fantastic. I hope that PC players are just as enthralled with the music and visuals as I was.

Tetris Effect will be coming to PC on July 23, 2019, exclusively through the Epic Games Store.
