When it comes to remakes of beloved series, especially ones hotly anticipated, there’s always two things on the mind of fans. The first is what will change. Considering Final Fantasy VII Remake will consist of multiple games, most likely a good deal is going to change for better or worse. But the other thing is getting to revisit key moments and areas from the original. Today we get a small taste of an area that will most likely be a big part of the first episode.

On the official game’s Twitter, we got a look at Midgar’s Sector 1 with some new concept art. Fans will remember this as a key point in the original game’s narrative. This is where the ominous Mako Reactor extracts the planet’s life energy. It’s also where the game’s tone takes a swift turn. That’s a quick shot of nostalgia for you.

Final Fantasy VII Remake will release March 3, 2020 only for the PlayStation 4.
