Xbox Live experiencing service outages, including Black Ops and Reach

If you've been having issues doing stuff on Xbox Live, you're not alone. Well, you are alone, because you can't connect to your online friends, but other people are having problems too.

Since last night, Xbox Live has been having various service outages, reported on its status page. Last night, it was Netflix; today, the site reports issues with creating, managing, and recovering accounts, and with creating, maintaining, or joining matches in Call of Duty: Black Ops and Halo Reach.

We're checking with Microsoft to determine the cause of these outages, and if possible the expected duration. Did the pizza guy trip over a cord, or was it something more serious? Like, maybe some pizza also got into one of the server's

I kept lagging out of parties yesterday, today i was playing halo and everybody but 4 people left in a BTB game 0_o

I got disconnected 3 times playing dead rising 2 with my friend.

I swore it could have been my internet.

I got disconnected from the Black Ops servers for about a hour last night and after that it was fine I played this morning without any problems...

I thought i was the only one. i was lagging in my party on xbox, but it was only on black ops.

Halo Reach matchmaking is fine, it just says everybody is a recruit and has the same armour, you can still play normally though..

I played black ops with all my friends without any problems ^^ maybe cause I am from germany ? idk but i had no problems ^^

Its so laggy it claims i have no avatar and it takes ages to load games i have paid for

ugh

Oh, I havent been on Xbox recently so I wouldnt know. What games you having trouble with?

When i say load games i mean bring up the list of games i have

black ops i could not get a game and now its just hard to use the dash but i was able to get on plants vs zombies so yay for now

And oh, any other online games that are laggy as I would like to avoid playing them?
