Battlefield V has been out for a bit now, a little over half a year, and those who are consistently playing may find themselves at a bit of a progression wall by now. It’s a natural thing to happen to any ongoing online service that employs RPG like mechanics (which is basically everything nowadays). Well, EA and DICE will address that in an upcoming update which will see the level cap get a pretty significant increase.

Via the game’s Reddit page, DICE announced that the cap would go from 50 all the way to 500, a pretty significant increase. For those past rank 50, every other 50th rank will see you get a promotion and levels in-between will give you Company Coin, and you will repeat that until you get all the way to 500.

Battlefield V is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The level increase will come with the “latter” part of Tides of War Chapter 4: Defying the Odds.
