No Games Released in 2011 Are in the Xbox Live Top 10

The weekly activity list for Xbox Live was released earlier today and surprisingly enough no games released in 2011 cracked the top ten for the online service. The usual suspects remain at the top of the boards, with Call of Duty: Black Ops, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, and Halo: Reach taking the first, second, and third spots respectively. Games like Crysis 2, Homefront, and other multiplayer games released this year flirted with popularity on the service early in the year, but none of them seem to have had the staying power that the Call of Duty and Halo franchises have had.

The Top 10 Xbox 360 Titles based on unique users are:

1- Call of Duty: Black Ops
2 - Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
3 - Halo: Reach
4 - FIFA Soccer 11
5 - GTA IV
6 - NBA 2K11
7 - Battlefield Bad Company 2
8 - Halo 3
9 - Gears of War 2
10 - Call of Duty: Modern Warfare

NCAA Football almost cracked the top ten which was recently released coming in at #11.

Hi Alec. And I agree, I dont like that game much. But, its a major franchise and people are always looking to play the newest thing out there, even if it isn't as good.


coz u guys are terrible at blackops thats why u think its terrible, sniping was a let down but if u look at the bigger picture blackops takes way more skill than most of the other cod games except for WaW.

Hi Alec. And I agree, I dont like that game much. But, its a major franchise and people are always looking to play the newest thing out there, even if it isn't as good.

mw2master113 HOW could black ops possibly be number 1 i went on today and it only had 300,000 playing and mw2 had 250,000 and that came out like 2 years ago

maybe because black ops has 50,000 more people playing on it than mw2...

i think BF bad company should beat NBA i mean thats really the only game i play and i have 8 out of the 10 games that are up there...

Even though Cod 4 has teleports, its still in the top 10. WaW would take BOs place if it didnt have No clip and god mode with all weapons and instant dogs.
