Hideo Kojima Releases Mysterious Death Stranding Video

Kojima releases new Death Stranding video making us even more confused.

Today on Twitter, video game directing legend Hideo Kojima released a very mysterious video regarding his new upcoming project, Death Stranding. Up to this point, we still do not know much about the game, specifically the story of the game. Kojima has been teasing us a couple times a year since the game’s announcement at E3 2016.

In this thirty-second video, the screen slowly fades out of black to show a hand print. In the handprint looks to be a cutscene of the game. As the cutscene is going the phrase “Create The Rope” appears on the screen. There is really no telling what this could mean with there being so little that we actually know about the game so far.

It has got to the point where gamers were expecting this to be a next PlayStation game with the new generation possibly beginning next year. Earlier this week though we did get confirmation that Death Stranding is still a PS4 title along with The Last of Us Part II and Ghost of Tsushima. What some are suspecting is that these three titles will be cross-generation titles meaning that they will be on both PS4 and the next PlayStation console. That being said, this is all pure speculation and Kojima’s fans are looking forward to playing Death Stranding on whatever platform it is available on.

With this video being released two weeks away from E3 there will likely be some news about Death Stranding at the show even with Sony not having a conference this year. We will be sure to update you when new Death Stranding news comes out. Death Stranding is currently in development for PS4, and we can only hope to hear more about it soon.

I just want this to not be a Sony exclusive, is that too much to ask?

I think this will end up being a good game.
