Take on the role of a goat, armed to the horns with firepower and ridiculous costumes

Have you ever played Call of Duty and thought to yourself “Man, this would be so much better if it had goats!” – well, it seems as though your wish may just be granted thanks to the developers at 34BigThings. I’m sure you’re wondering what the hell this game is all about – or maybe you’re not, but either way, I’m going to tell you.

Goat of Duty is the fast-paced multiplayer FPS shooter where you get to play as a bad-ass goat with a rocket launcher on its back – I don’t think I need to say much more than that, do I? I will say that you do get to wear some really strange costumes (as if this could be any stranger) as you trot around taking out other goats so you can then try and become the GOAT of goats. Rocket launchers aren’t your only weapon, you’ll use get to use a variety of guns that fire saw blades, bouncy grenades, and of course there had to be some headbutting thrown in too – I mean, you are a goat after all.

This game looks absolutely silly and ridiculous as it is intended but if I’m honest, it does look like a lot of fun and something I could see myself playing with friends for a laugh. Over on the games steam page, the devs state that there’s nothing complex going on with Goat of Duty and it really is just about goats killing other goats for fun.

“OK, look, we admit it. There’s no lore here. You are a goat. You’re armed to the teeth (well, the horns). There are other goats out there who want to kill you. It’s as simple as that. Now go out there and show ’em what you’ve goat.”

“Goat of Duty is a fast-paced and intense multiplayer first-person shooter, and that’s pretty much all you need to know. No nonsense: no need to master a convoluted metagame, learn different characters, combine skills, strategic team play… just devilish combat arenas, powerful weapons, and fast-paced action. Well, and lots of silly humor, crazy goatstumes (skins), and goat mechanics for you to troll your friends to your heart’s content!”
