Call of Duty 2019 Will Feature 'Game Changing' Experiences

4.1
Many expected Activision Blizzard to talk about 2019's Call of Duty and spill some interesting tidbits, but it really didn't say much about the upcoming PS4, Xbox One, and PC shooter. The company's president and COO did note though that Activision and Infinity Ward are both internally very excited for the new installment. And you'd expect both parties to be. However, Activision seems a little bit more excited than normal for whatever Infinity Ward has cooking up.

Interestingly, Activision Blizzard also noted that the game, and its post-launch content plan, will bring "game changing experiences" to fans. What this means exactly, who knows, but it sounds promising.

"We recognize that we need to do even more to maintain the breadth of the Call of Duty player base beyond the launch quarters, and the Call of Duty team is hard at work on that for this fall’s big content release, excitement for which is incredibly high around the organization," said the COO during the earnings call. "We expect that both the launch and post-launch content will bring game changing experiences to our fans."

Meanwhile, Activision President Rob Kostich noted that the game will be revealed before the end of the June, and that fans of the series will understand why Activision is so excited once they see it for themselves.

As you may know, the newest installment in the series, according to multiple leaks and reports, is Modern Warfare 4, and so naturally a lot of people are excited. Alongside Black Ops, Modern Warfare is the most popular and beloved Call of Duty sub-brand.

In the past, Activision has hyped up the new installment as "one of the best Call of Duty's ever built." Meanwhile, the game is apparently very ambitious, and a lot like the old Modern Warfare. Lastly, multiple reports claim the game will not have a battle royale mode, and will rather bring back the single-player campaign.

All I can say is fingers crossed. :D

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a good cod this year but most likely they will release some hot trash and we will all buy it up and not complain or boycott it so they can actually go back to the grassroots or atleast listen to the fans. I'm not one for all this futuristic shit, in all honesty I didn't like bo2 that much when it launched in 2012 or whatever. I've always preferred the MW series over the BO series so like I said I'll keep my fingers crossed for something good this year.

I hate cod news in the middle of the year, it's always the same bullshit again and again.
"This year will be great" "this year will be the best cod ever" "this year things will finally change" like nah, you constantly release garbage. Stop hyping something up for once and just make a good, old style cod game that the majority of people can actually enjoy.

Lmao weren't the jetpacks supposed to be a gamechanging feature aswell... They sure made an impact alright wonder what they could possibly do now that would keep people playing this stale ass concept.

They say this every year and its still the same crap

Idk how I feel about this. Game changing experiences might change the way we feel about a real call of duty game.

They literally say this every single year

so its not gonna be mw4 got it, if it aint broke dont fix,

seems like acivision listens to the people who complained cod was the same for over 18 or 19years when changed happened in 2012 people didnt like it and when major change came into play in 2013 people hated change and wanted it to go back, in 2014 people hated the changed in ghosts which imo is by far the best modern cod out of the years of jetpacks you cant lie that ghost isnt fun now(since it was the last bog cod), when they added more jetpack wall running titanfall rip off people hated that change and wished to go back 19years back to bog, here we are today with bo4 the first out of two modern cods that are bog(ghost is 1 and bo4 is 2).

id rather cod 1 2 3 and 4 over futuristic but considering cod 4 and above ie the modern era games takes place a few years in the future ie respawns modern warfare cods(respawn is old iw) and current iw is a new company, its very clear its not gonna be mw4 most likely gonna be ghosts 2 if anything since respawn isnt behind the new cod since they are the ones who knows how the mw storyline ends not current iw, but yeah ill chug a bottle of water if it turns out to be fake modern warfare 4 where soap and ghost comes back to life and everyone else(the part of everyone magically coming back to life is a joke) im not gonna believe the rumors until official hush hush leaks, again this game better take place in 2023 not 2070 or 2150 we dont need anymore future crap games were already getting cyberpunk 2077 for a future game

i just cant wait to see how bad they mess this game up because im looking forward to playing it

Really excited for this, hoping it actually is like the old Modern Warfare. Will defo be thrown off purchasing future COD titles for sure if it isn't.
