PSA: Xbox 360 update out tomorrow, no immediate features added

Microsoft will be pushing out an update for the Xbox 360 tomorrow, according to Major Nelson, but other than the few moments you'll have to wait while your 360 downloads the patch, installs it and then restarts, the change likely won't affect you in the least. As Major Nelson says, "there are no new features that will show up once your system has been updated," as the update is simply to set up some background technology for further improvements later this year.
So that's kind of boring. We almost wish he'd gone ahead and made something up: A patch that "improved the awesomeness of your Xbox Console by an estimated 3000%" would have been much more interesting than this one.
yeah i was wondering what the update was for! i was thinking it would be the new xbox 360 dashboard!!! i was so happy when the update was applied,, only to find out when my xbox turned back on!!! i was very disapointed!!! oh well hopefuly next update its gonna be the new dash!!!! im sick of this white ishh!!!
big_dawgg26 There has been a glitch that some users have to update a game EVERY time they insert it into the xbox.
OMg i hate that i feel like microsoft is targeting me why does it do that?
Mine does that how the **** do i fix it.
This can happen when you don't have enough memory on your Xbox.
I once had a 265MB memory card (a LONG time ago) and replaced it with a 20GB HDD, and it resolved the issue for me.

this update makes flashed drives usseless
so they cabnot play any game and cant go online

I have a flashed/modded/whatever they call it(im not that at good at these things), console with a abgx360 patched COD BO. it worked till the update came.i havent tested it but my friends(i live in iran so my friends consoles situation is just like me)say that the new update renders the BO useless.does the newer version of abg get around this?can anyone tell me please?
When i first tried to download the update, i got an error that it could not process the update, then it worked. I heard it had to do something with game saves and all that. I did a few in the past, but i dont do them anymore.
