Shao Kahn Brings Down the Hammer in Latest Mortal Kombat 11 Trailer

Gameplay of Shao Kahn in Mortal Kombat 11 for PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch has finally been shown off in a new trailer.
We are less than a week than a week away from the launch of Mortal Kombat 11 and NeatherRealm Studios is still showcasing new gameplay footage. While we knew Shao Kahn was a pre-order bonus fighter for the game back in December, we haven’t seen him in action until today.

As always, the emperor of Outworld looks quite brutal and taunt heavy. Many of his attack are directly tied to his “Wrath Hammer” leading to some really painful looking fatal blows in his reveal trailer. His fatality showcased is also brutally amazing, showcasing the true power of the character. Those of you who liked Shao Kahn for his taunts will also be happy as a few are showcased in the trailer.

While I’m happy to finally see this character in action, it will be more interesting to see if or how Shao Kahn comes into play during Mortal Kombat 11’s story considering the time traveling shenanigans that are going on.

As I mentioned, Shao Kahn is a pre-order bonus for Mortal Kombat 11 that will be available from day one. While those who pre-ordered the game on PS4 or Xbox One also gained access to last month’s Closed Beta, Shao Kahn is the major pre-order bonus for PC and Nintendo Switch players.

You can check out Shao Kahn’s reveal trailer below. If you don’t want to have to purchase him separately, you can pre-order Mortal Kombat 11 for PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on Amazon prior to its April 23 release date.
