Red Dead Online Beta Spoils of War update adds new Showdown Mode

3.4
Red Dead Online Beta Spoils of War update has added a new mode to the game’s Showdown Series. The player-versus-player mode, named Spoils of War, will see teams competing against each other to capture the opposing team’s loot. The teams of 2-16 cowboys will be required to defend their own stockpile while looking to deplete the enemy’s. The team with the most loot at the end of the game wins.

The new Red Dead Online Beta Spoils of War game type will be featured in locations like Fort Mercer and Valentine as well as others. The mode itself can be accessed via “Featured Series” in the main menu or the “Featured Series” signpost on the map. Red Dead Online Beta will treat winners of their first Spoils of War match to 8 x Dynamite Arrows and players of all Showdown Series modes will receive a 20 percent XP boost this week.

Alongside the Spoils of War game mode, the latest update will include new items available from the Wheeler, Rawson & Co Catalogue, including:

The Tasman Outfit (Male only)
The Danube Outfit (Female only)
Tied Pants
Hitched Skirt (Female only)
Winter Shotgun Coat
Gardenia Hat
Squat Stovepipe Top Hat

The items are available for a limited time and will be marked as “Limited Stock” within the catalog. Items available in the future will be marked as “Coming Soon.”

In quality-of-life updates, the Red Dead Online Beta will continue to improve the catalog itself, in both its functionality and organization. The game’s feedback website has also been updated and features a section for player thoughts on the Spoils of War update.

Rockstar Games continues to update Red Dead Redemption 2 and its online mode across the board. Earlier this year, the game jumped on the battle royale bandwagon with its Gun Rush mode.

I love how they are always adding stuff and making quality of life changes and still have the audacity to call it a beta. Cmon the game and online play is out, it's just filled with bugs and glitches so they call it a beta for having a broken game?
