Fortnite hit two records in February for peak concurrent players

3.6
Fortnite had two record highs for peak concurrent players during the month of February.

Epic reports the best Fortnite event ever occurred during the in-game Marshmello concert, in which 10.7 million players showed up.

This past Saturday, February 16, Fortnite saw its best “non-event day” ever with 7.6 million concurrent players. This was around the time cracks started appearing in-game, leading up to whatever is going to happen at the start of Season 8.

In November 2018, it was reported the game as a whole had 8.3 million concurrent players worldwide.

This was up from 3.4 million concurrent players on February 8, 2018. On that day, the volume of players slammed the servers, causing major service disruptions.

If you’re just getting started on Fortnite’s Week 10 challenges and need help before Season 8 starts, we have you covered.

This "7.6 million concurrent players" is after apex came out.

I'm not a Fortnite fanboy but no one can deny their success. Their team has been unmatched in my opinion, they always are on top of fixes, new content, banning cheaters, etc.. It's going to be impossible to kill this game within the next couple years.

That's a huge publicity for Marshmellow. I hope more artists get involved in concerts. It was quite the experience.

Dang still a huge number for that doesn't surprise me in the least.
