Anthem servers are reaching max capacity and players getting kicked

4.5
If you’re trying to get into the Anthem VIP demo, well, the servers are rather full at the moment. But don’t worry: EA is working to get things running smoothly.

Folks trying to jump into the Anthem VIP demo are having a bit of an issue. Apparently, the servers have reached maximum capacity in some cases.

Some users have been able to get in, but are being kicked soon after. Instances of “error retrieving Anthem live service data” messages have also been reported. Others players have stated they were finally able to get in after long wait times, so hopefully this will apply to everyone soon enough.

EA said it’s working on adding more server capacity to the Anthem demo. Just keep trying and eventually you will get in.

EA is also looking into the “infinite loading issue,” and suggests you relaunch the game try rejoining a mission to see if it rectifies the issue for you.

The VIP demo kicks off today and runs through Sunday, January 27 so hopefully things will get settled soon.

We’ll update you with any changes as they come.

EA sucks, how are you not prepared to have servers support that many people.

Maze They should have known how much server capacity would be needed based off of pre orders. This isn't good for EA

The servers got that bad, they actually effected all the services and had to turn them all off

Rule number 1 never trust anything with EA's name on it

This day and age it shouldnt be a problem to get servers and such..... They have launched tons of games that have also had problems and they never just have a good game launch. There are always bugs or some stupid shit to make people not want to play the game anymore after just playing the demo which is a huge thing for a game starting off. A demo is suppose to bring in players not show them the publishing company is absolute garbage.

Rui EA has to be the poorest excuse for a Publishing company, with multiple servers world wide and not predicting the game being popular. Shambles.

Because they were probably thinking about cancelling it and not putting too much money into something they think isn't a good investment haha
