Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation added to Backward Compatibility

3.7
Normally, Xbox One Backward Compatibility game announcements arrive on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but today Microsoft brought in a single Xbox 360 game to the program. Bandai Namco's Ace Combat 6: Fires of the Liberation from 2007 is now natively playable on the Xbox One family of consoles.

While this is one of those games that is not directly available to purchase through the Xbox Marketplace, there is a method to grab a copy for those who don't already own the disk, although its a pretty expensive one.

Anyone who purchases the upcoming entry in the series Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown - which launches tomorrow, January 18 - for the Xbox One will receive a free copy of Ace Combat 6 with their purchase.

This is a limited-time promotion, but the exact date of when it will come to an end was not shared.

It's nice of them to add this game to backward compatibility, and it comes with it when you buy the new one? Sweet deal.
