Treyarch began teasing a new map update for Black Ops 4’s Blackout mode, which many fans think is going to include the map Hijacked. Now, it seems like next week is going to be more than just a simple update, as PlayStation has started teasing something new for the game too, and it looks a lot like a brand new Specialist.

The tweet, which you can check out at the end of the article, seems to show a character holding some kind of object. While it’s difficult to make out exactly what the object is, it almost looks a bit like a variant of a flashbang.

While we technically don’t know for sure if this is teasing a new Specialist, it would make sense as Treyarch said a while back that we’d be getting a new character sometime in December, and since we are already five days into the month, it makes perfect sense.

We’ll know more about both the new Specialist and the Blackout map update when it launches next week, on December 11, 2018.
