PUBG Pre-Orders for PS4 Will be Rewarded With Exclusive Skins

It seems there’s just no end to the string of major announcements for PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. The game’s biggest news of recent weeks was that it will soon be launching on PlayStation 4. In celebration of this, PUBG will also feature a little nod to some of PlayStation’s biggest heroes.

Those who pre-order the PlayStation 4 edition of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds will be treated to an extra bonus in the form of skins representing a pair of well known Naughty Dog characters. The first of the two is Nathan Drake’s desert costume from Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception. Following this is Ellie’s backpack from the critically acclaimed The Last of Us.

Both Drake’s outfit and Ellie’s backpack are naturally exclusive to the PlayStation 4 edition of the popular battle royale title.

This is not the first crossover that PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has indulged in this year. A recent announcement saw Suicide Squad skins becoming available in-game allowing comic book fans to rush into battle as Harley Quinn and the Joker. On top of this, PUBG Mobile will see a collaboration with Capcom for the release of Resident Evil 2 in early 2019.

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds will be landing on PlayStation 4 on December 7, 2019.
