New Xbox Experience 2011 Dashboard update coming this fall

During the Microsoft E3 press conference today it was announced that the Xbox Live dashboard will be getting an update, complete with a redesign that resembles the recently revealed Windows 8. The new version of the software will feature voice commands via Kinect, Microsoft’s search engine Bing and Youtube. There will also be a new live TV feature that will allow you to watch TV through your Xbox so as to not interrupt the entertainment experience. Partnerships with international television providers like SkyTV in the UK were also announced.

skatertg They have made windows 8 look exactly like this, soon to be a merged pc and xbox... i think so.


They would lose money on pc games most likely.

I haven't updated my Jtag for ages,still on 12611,and I don't plan to update again till this dash!

Silencer To be honest, this looks 1000x better than the dashboard we have now. And I honestly don't care if it effects JTAGs, I've always wanted to play some legit CoD.

that is a good point the last update did nothing for performance and just made the corners sharper

the old dashboard is getting bland jtags dont even work online yet for everyone

Most looking forward to youtube. Although it's good to see them adding features to the Kinect experience. Not too sure on the dash, but everyone said that about the current dash and we grew to deal with it pretty quickly.
