Over on Twitter today, Keighley recently posted a new video of himself talking about expectations for The Game Awards in 2018. In the process, he divulged that this year’s ceremony is set to reveal more new games than ever before in the program’s five-year history.
Keighley said that over 10 new games will be unveiled for the first time over the course of the show, with many other new updates also arriving for existing games. Even though The Game Awards only lasts two hours, it seems like a lot is planned on being packed into its runtime. Hopefully, Hazelight’s Josef Fares doesn’t hijack the show once again or else Keighley might not be able to squeeze in all of the announcements.
If you can’t tune into the show for yourself, then fear not, as we’ll be reporting on all of the biggest news that comes out from The Game Awards here on DualShockers. The Game Awards will kick off next Thursday, December 6, at 8:30 PM EST.
We have such an incredible show coming together for next week. More than 10 new games will be announced for the first time during #TheGameAwards plus updates on existing titles too. We will share some teases in the days to come.... pic.twitter.com/3w17tFIuTA
