Guy Trashes GameStop After Being Told He Couldn’t Return Fallout 76

3.9
We all know what it’s like. You wake up in the morning on the wrong side of the bed, the cat has peed in your cornflakes and you hate your boss. Makes you want to go out and trash a store, doesn’t it? Although most of us usually only imagine ourselves doing these things with a smile on our face, someone decided to do just that and seemingly had enough of the world, and Gamestop too.

In a post on Twitter, @GeoffLife shared a video originally from a Facebook post by Tarenthis Campbell, of what happened when a guy who was trying to return his copy of Fallout 76 to Gamestop but got refused due to their policy. Instead of just accepting that this is how it is and leaving the store, the irate man decided to go all hulk and destroy the store in a fit of rage. He wasn’t just satisfied with a single toss of a shelf or something, he had to show he meant business by pushing down displays and flipping games into the air.

At the end of the video, the rather angry man walks out leaving behind a customer who witnessed it all in shock, not to mention the guy that was filming the whole thing. Although the award for keeping your cool under pressure goes to the customer service assistant who answers an incoming call completely chilled and saying “Thanks for calling GameStop, this is Brian how can I help you?”.

There has been no further information at the time of writing this post what happened next and if the man got charged for his flip out due to Fallout.

Fallout 76 is currently available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. You can order the game through Amazon right here.

MushroomElm A good reason to carry a gun. You never know what could happen and for what reason. What if he had decided to attack the cashier instead?
Still, he only wanted to return the game so he could pay for college. He has dreams, you know, and he's just being oppressed.

I hope they find this guy and get him for any and all charges they can.
Sad day, when someone has to trash a place just because they don't understand policies.

If he wanted to return the game because he wanted to "go to college", he shouldn't have bought the game in the first place.
Honestly, responses like these show how ridiculous Americans and gun laws are; he is messing up a store, not threatening life. You clearly have a misguided sense of loss-of-life if you think this warrants someone being shot.

Read my first question. WHAT IF HE HAD DECIDED TO ATTACK THE CASHIER INSTEAD?
People get assaulted every day in the US. Some worse than others. I'm simply stating IF( read it again: IF IF IF IF IF IF IF IF IF IF IF IF), he had decided to attack the cashier instead, who knows what could have happened to the guy simply following GameStop's policies.
I am NOT stating 'Oh, he pushed a stand over. OPEN FIRE WITH 100 AR-15'S.'

But you're right, gun laws are ridiculous.

Are you serious rn? A gun? That's extreme. That's embarrassing that you feel as if you need to carry a gun for something that would only make the situation worse.

Maze This guy lived my dream.

Of ruining some other underpaid employee's time? Yeah Gamestop sucks but it's corporate and their policies, not the clerk who's getting paid minimum wage. Lash out online to corporate.

I've seen this and it's utterly hilarious, I feel that we can all relate to this man.

Maaaan, STFU. You know how I know your an American, probably southern residing resident? Becuse of your response. The policy is trash, that game is trash. And Gamestop is one of the worst things that's happened to gaming since Nintendo Wii U. If this was a white guy in Walmart you would have praised him. Gtfo. And that's coming from a conservative white male. Now go away.

First off, GameStop made its debut long before the Wii-U. If the guy in the video had any sense he would've waited for other folks to review Fallout 76, before purchasing it. Let alone, going on a belligerent rampage like a prepubescent adolescent because he couldn't get his way. Even "back in the day" their credit system was very flawed. If you don't like GameStop they're other places to buy and sell used Video Games. I feel bad for the cashier for dealing with such ignorance regardless of dude's skin color.

I remember wanting to return my Xbox One when I realized how bad MCC was. This guy lived my dream. GameStop's policies are complete garbage but it's part of the reason they are still in business whether you believe it or not. I'm surprised they haven't folded yet.

If he need the money for college his dumbass shouldn't have bought the game in the first place...
