Today, on the Golden Joystick Awards 2018, Bandai Namco revealed a new trailer for Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown. It’s quite a short trailer, and most of the story scenes shown in it were already revealed beforehand, but the gameplay is brand new, delivering some nice dogfight footage.

The game has been announced for quite a while now, and it’s great to see it’s finally coming. I can’t wait for it. A limited edition was also revealed a few days ago, and it’s quite worthwhile in my opinion, as it will contain short stories written by Sunao Katabuchi, who also worked on Ace Combat 4 and 5‘s script, and is also a renowned anime director.

The game also got its first TV commercial a few days ago. The previous trailer focused on aircraft customization, showing the skill tree-like system for it.

Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown will launch for PS4 and Xbox One on January 18th, and for PC a bit later on February 1st.
