Gran Turismo Sport Update 1.30 Fixes Issues In Sport Mode

3.5
The past two updates for Polyphony Digital’s racing sim have brought about significant additions with each of them bringing new cars, while updates prior to that also added new tracks to the game. The latest update for the game, though, labeled version 1.30, is much smaller in comparison.

Update 1.30 mostly fixes some issues that players had been facing in the game’s Sport Mode. More specifically, it addresses one issue where in Daily Races and Championships, races were at times not starting properly. Cars were either starting the race from halfway through the track, bizarrely enough, or they were at the proper starting line and were not starting at all, and were instead stuck at the starting line, instead only jittering from side to side. Both these issues have now been fixed.

The size of the update is a measly 137.2 MB, which makes sense, since it’s not a huge patch that does a lot. Make sure you download it before you start playing the game, especially if you plan on booting up Sport Mode. You can check out the patch notes, such as they are, below (provided by the developers).

Gran Turismo Sport is available exclusively on the PS4.

Corrected the issues below where the race start was not working properly in the Daily Races and Championships:

At the time of race start, the players car that should be in motion is stopped and stuck at the start position. Sometimes this also shows the car jittering to the left and right.
At the time of race start, the car starts from halfway through the track.
