Battlefield 5 pre-load details revealed for PC, PS4, Xbox One

Depending on your chosen platform and how much you’re willing to fork out, you can be playing Battlefield 5 by the end of the week.

Battlefield 5 has different tiers of release dates that vary by game edition, and platform in some cases. What this means is that the game effectively has three release dates.

This also dictates how early the game will be available to pre-load. Thankfully, EA has unveiled full pre-load details for PC, PS4, and Xbox One, as well as for the different editions of the game.

PC is the simplest to keep track of, because the date below applies to all of the game’s various editions. This includes Origin Access, with the only difference being when you’ll be able to start the game. For the full round-up, see below.

And, in case you missed it, DICE recently announced the full minimum and recommended PC specs, and unveiled the list of launch maps in multiplayer.

Battlefield 5 PC pre-load dates and times

  • All versions: Wednesday, November 7 at 5am PT, 8am ET, 1pm GMT.

Battlefield 5 PS4 pre-load dates and times

North America

  • Deluxe Edition: Wednesday, November 7 at 9pm PT, 12am ET (November 8).
  • Standard Edition: Monday, November 12 at 9pm PT, 12am ET (November 13).

Maze This is probably one of the lamest decisions a developer has come up with. Leave it up to EA to take out microtransactions but make people pay extra to play the game early.

But they aren't the only ones to do that?
You also aren't just paying to get it early.
