Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Stays Atop Weekly Sales Chart in the UK

3.6
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 has held strong for the second straight week and has taken the top spot in UK sales for the 42 week of the year.

Despite the drop in physical sales that we reported on in last week’s UK sales chart, Black Ops 4 has held strong and will likely continue to stay near the upper part of this list for the foreseeable future. As for the rest of the top 5 this week, it has remained roughly the same with FIFA 19 staying in second, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey in third, Marvel’s Spider-Man jumping to fourth, and Forza Horizon 4 again rounding things out at number five.

In terms of new releases last week, LEGO DC Super-Villains had the best debut of the week and came in at sixth. SoulCalibur VI, which released last Friday, started off at eighth and Dark Souls Remastered, which finally came to Switch last week, appeared back on the sales chart at the number twelve spot. In perhaps the most disappointing new release of the week sales-wise, Starlink: Battle for Atlas appeared at fourteenth on the list.

As always, the full top-40 list for last week’s sales in the UK is attached below.

And rightfully so, I think this is the best new call of duty in years, not counting MWR since that was a remake this is probably the best call of duty I have played in a long while!

This game is just too good, I can not wait to get my new PS4 and play it, I heard the comp is trash though because of it being 5v5 squads. I think they killed it to be honest but everything else looks 10x better.

I wonder how it is doing compared to Fortnite I guess we will never know since they are free lol I need to see a state for play time.

This was bound to happen since they released their game so early

Not surprising considering how many esports teams have dubbed the return on the competitive scene and with the variety of game modes to play, Treyarch have outdone themselves once again.
