So, first off, let’s make this clear—on average, you will need at least 100GB of space clear on your console no matter what. Specifically, if you install from the disc, on Xbox One you will need 107GB free, while on PS4, you will need 99GB free. If you are downloading the game digitally, you will need to clear up 107GB of space on your Xbox One, but 149GB free on your PS4 (the final game install will come to 99GB, but an additional 50GB will be required during installation).
Which is absolutely crazy, but hey, I guess that is the price you pay for a game as ambitious as this. Red Dead Redemption 2 launches for PS4 and Xbox One on October 26.
