Trophy hunters won’t like this one; according to a Siliconera translation of the very Japanese PlayStation-CS Blog, titles to receive HD makeovers under the recently announced PSP Remaster banner will not be getting Trophy support.

The confirmation is said to have come direct from Sony Computer Entertainment Japan.

There’s no official word why that is, though it stands to reason that the cross-platform save system of the Remaster line may be the cause; PSP games have never adapted Trophies.

The PSP Remaster line was announced just this weekend. It will be rolled out in Japan first.
