Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Sees 33% Increase In Concurrent Players

There was never any doubt that Assassin’s Creed Odyssey would do very well for Ubisoft, and the latest numbers that are coming in definitely fall in line with that assessment. Apparently, the day after the game’s full launch on October 5, it hit pretty impressive numbers on Steam in terms of concurrent players.

How many? On Sunday, October 6, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey’s concurrent players went up to as high as 62,069 players (via GitHyp). Not only is that a 33 per cent increase over Assassin’s Creed Origins’ highest concurrent player count ever (which was 41,000), it’s also the highest number any Assassin’s Creed game has ever hit.

It's a very impressive and fun game, I am about 35 hours in right now haven't finished the story or anything and the world is massive, and the time period is great. I can't wait to dive in even further.

Very impressive, and a big congrats to ubisoft! Any time a business sees a 33% increase in anything like this is great news, and I hope they keep doing well for themselves. It's been a while since I've actually wanted an Assassins Creed game but this year's drew me in and i hope to buy it soon
