HyperX Introduce Its First Gaming Headset with Bluetooth Technology

4
Today HyperX has announced their very first Bluetooth-enabled headset for players who want that little bit more freedom when purchasing a headset. The Cloud Mix is pretty versatile though, it can also be used while listening to music or chatting with your friends on different platforms.

The Cloud MIX headset features plenty of things to compensate its $199.99 price tag. One of many is the dual chamber technology and 40mm drivers for hearing those all-important footsteps close by, keeping you ahead of the game. Another cool feature is the Cloud MIX is fitted with
two microphone options – a flexible detachable gaming mic and an internal one with Bluetooth allowing you to take your headset with you without the fuss of a second one.

In April this year, HyperX announced a limited edition version of its popular gaming headset the Cloud Alpha which came in two colors: the standard red with black and vibrant gold and black design.

Tyler Needles who is the global audio business manager at HyperX said in a press release that:

“Creating the perfect headset for the growing gaming community was a natural next step for HyperX. Our goal was to produce a headset that not only meets the standards of a professional gamer but also offers the versatility for anyone to use anywhere. Simply plug in the Cloud MIX for hours of PC or console gaming or switch to Bluetooth mode to listen to music or chat wherever you are.”

The HyperX Cloud MIX headset is available now in the US for $199.99 and for more information you can jump over to the Hyper X website.

I like the headset, bluetooth is awesome. But the price tag is far out of my price range.. After conversions that $199 US will be like 259 before tax and tax is 13% here.. yikes.
