That’s right, a free-to-play game will be included in a new bundle for the Switch soon. What a steal! Snarkiness aside, the benefit to buying this version of the Switch is that it will include 1,000 V-bucks along with the Double Helix Set which will contain a unique outfit, Back Bling, glider, and pickaxe.
While you aren’t saving that much money overall by opting to purchase this bundle–1,000 V-bucks only costs $10–what most will probably latch onto here is the exclusive Helix set. The fervor around exclusive cosmetics in Fortnite is still strong and I’m sure that there are some out there who don’t own a Switch and are looking to finally make the dive thanks to this bundle.
This bundle is set to launch next month on October 5 and will retail for the standard fare of $299.99.
