Sea of Thieves: Forsaken Shores Gets a New Teaser Trailer

3.7
Rare’s Sea of Thieves is getting its third free content update with Forsaken Shores. All players with access to Sea of Thieves will get the chance to try out the update later this month on September 19. You can check out the new teaser trailer down below.

The new content update will open up a new region of the map to players, known as The Devil’s Roar. It’s a very dangerous volcanic region that’ll give players tons of new opportunities in the game. If you watch the trailer, you’ll get a firsthand look at just how dangerous The Devil’s Roar will be.

Back during E3, Sea of Thieves received a trailer showcasing what would be its next two content updates. The first arrived in July with Cursed Sails, and the second was Forsaken Shores. Back in March, the game saw a strong launch with over two million players, and that wasn’t even including Xbox Game Pass downloads. You can check out our review of the vanilla version of Sea of Thieves if you haven’t already picked it up for yourself.

Sea of Thieves is available exclusively on Xbox One and PC. The game is essentially an open world pirate simulator for you and your friends. If you’d like to give the game a try yourself, it’s available on Amazon right now to purchase.

Looking forward to playing this when I can get around to it in the future

Two of my friends bought this game on release and haven't played since the first week just as expected. Glad I didn't buy it but it's cool to see they are doing free content updates.

Trailer looks brilliant, but the game however is just annoying unless you get really into the game. Not for me but still looks decent.

This game actually looks gay. Nah but for real this game isn't my thing at all

Nice to see its free, and damn, that trailer looks crazy good.

It's nice that they're releasing free content, but I personally feel like the whole PC community for this game has dwindled to nothing due to lack of launch content. It's mainly diehards that are still playing on there nowadays.

I've played this game quite a few times now and never really understood the concept of it to be honest, but this trailer for this Forsaken Shores does look really good.

This trailer makes the game look a lot more fun than I think it is.
