Xbox Unveils a New Greaseproof Xbox One PUBG-Themed Controller

3.8
Do you play video games with your fingers covered in grease, Doritos, and other disgusting things? Then Xbox has a controller for you! Today, the Australian branch of the company unveiled a brand new PUBG-themed controller, but the best part is that, according to Microsoft, it’s completely greaseproof for those of you who can’t wash your hands.

The controller itself features a greyish/greenish and yellow design that’s so glossy it looks like it’s already been dipped in a vat of lard. Unfortunately, there are a ton of caveats, if you really want this. For starters, only 200 have been produced, so your odds are already limited. Next, there’s no current way to buy this thing, so you’ll have to win one of five of them via Xbox Australia’s Facebook page. And finally, as of the time of this writing, it’s only available in Australia, with no plans to bring it anywhere else.

You can check out a video of the controller below, complete with disgusting rotisserie chicken and a waterfall of grease.

If you want to get your hands on some more accessible, less disgusting controllers, then maybe check out the two new Phantom Black and Grey/Blue additions that were just unveiled a few weeks ago.

I like the idea of limited controllers. And grease proof for those dirty hands lol

It really is limited huh. Only 200 available and can only win one. Therefore, if someone wins ones they're going to sell it for big bucks.

DubstepMime It says Promotional Item, Not for sale at the end. Fake news

So not for sale means fake? News post even says it's not for sale so it's not fake lmao

Next, there's no current way to buy this thing, so you'll have to win one of five of them via Xbox Australia's Facebook page

I really don't think this is a real thing. I think some how in can get greasy.

Who on there right mind plays with greasy asf hands tho? Like I don't eat food whilst playing especially anything that would cause my hands to become greasy, like fair enough I have a bag of chocolate and a drink or something but nothing that causes greasy hands

Greaseproof? That's impressive but to what extent would this work, and why would people use a controller with disgustingly greasy hands? So many questions.

Mikey Looks pretty nice to be honest, hope its not to expensive though.

I would assume between 60-80$ but I would wait and just buy the new elite that's coming out instead
