Fortnite’s Newest Update Adds Two New Modes and Ace Pack

For those who have been wanting the Solid Gold game mode to come back to Fortnite, like me, then there is some good news. Today, developer Epic Games released a new update for the popular Battle Royale shooter that re-enables the hectic game mode and adds a couple more surprises.

For those that don’t know, Solid Gold is a slight twist on the normal mode, with only Legendary weapons spawning into the world via floor loot and chests. In addition to the normal Solid Gold, Epic has also decided to add another variant of the mode to the game, this time being Solid Gold 50v50s, which sees the same rules mentioned above applied to the 50v50 game mode.

Finally, players will also be able to purchase a brand new DLC called the Ace Pack, which grants you 600 V-Bucks, as well as a new outfit and backpack. The pack itself costs $4.99 and you can check out a preview of it at the top of the article.

Fortnite is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Windows PC, and Nintendo Switch, as well as iOS and Android devices.

Not a fan of 50s it was cool, but it gets annoying being griefed by your own team. Never the less constant support and updates is sweet.

50v50 is good, Solid gold 50v50 is pointless. Soaring 50s was actually good and the Ace Pack is shit, I only got it to get it out of my Shop and for the vbucks

I couldn't agree more! Got a 12 kill solo win and did nothing but rush the whole game it was amazing. Can't wait for when they change it to duos and squads!!

Ace pack outfit is pretty sick. Good deal imo considering you get the outfit + 600 vbucks for $5.
